Fitness instructor Katia Pryce has talked about hiding her growing belly during pregnancy while conducting workout classes in skin-baring, figure-hugging activewear.
The New York-based exercise guru, 39, who goes by @katia_dancebody on Instagram, kicked off a recent video post with a clip of her leading a class while vigorously dancing in a crop top and leggings.
“Watch me try to hide my pregnancy when this is what I do for a living,” text superimposed on the 47-second video.
Then a montage of Katia in action takes place, instructing lessons at one and two week intervals, starting at “7 weeks pregnant” and ending at “21 weeks”.

Of her game plan at 14 weeks, she jokes in captioned text, “I thought the shirt around the waist would be a good disguise lol.”
‘[T]ime for the leotard,” she declares of her week 16 look.
‘[A]and now baggy shirts,” she writes of her approach to week 17.
In the final clip, we see Katia taking off a red comforter as she makes her “big reveal” to the class she was teaching at the time.
Katia, the founder and owner of New York-based fitness studio Dancebody, shared in the caption how, in her first trimester, “it was incredibly difficult to find the energy and introduce myself to my clients, while also trying to keep my pregnancy .’
She went on to explain how “she tried to get creative with the workout clothes some days it worked, some days it didn’t!”
“Nothing beats FINALLY being able to speak freely about this much-desired pregnancy,” she concluded.
It included a disclaimer that pregnant women should check with their healthcare providers about starting new exercise regimens while expecting.

Katia added, “A good rule of thumb is that whatever you were doing consistently 3 months before you got pregnant, it should be fine throughout your pregnancy.”
Comments on the video gushed from the small business owner, who has been embracing her pregnancy since breaking the news to her students and her nearly 100,000 Instagram followers.
“That kid’s gonna make some cool moves,” one joked.
Another chimed in with an unbiased reminder, writing: “Anyone in their first trimester who can barely get out of bed and die of nausea is fine too.
